Arkansas Teenage Rodeo Association was established as an association for youth to compete in rodeo arenas throughout central Arkansas.  ATRA offers many events for our young people, such as Bull Riding, Bareback, Breakaway, Team Roping, Goat Tying, Pole Bending, Calf Roping, Ribbon Roping, Chute Doggin, and Barrel Racing.  Depending on age we offer 4 groups, Beginners, PeeWees, Juniors, and Senior.

We have been growing each year in membership and we strive each year to make ATRA bigger and better for not only the contestants and their parents but for the fans.  Most of our rodeos are scheduled in and around central Arkansas, starting up usually by February or March and going to August.  Our Finals have been held the last several years in Conway, AR.

ATRA is a fantastic organization for today's youth. We believe that if you give a young person responsibilities, a place to meet with their peers, a hobby they can do with their entire family, we might just be able to keep our children from walking down the wrong paths.
